About Seabourn Cruise Line
About Seabourn Cruise Line Seabourn Cruise Line is part of Carnival Corporation, whose seven cruise lines are members of the "World's Leading Cruise Lines" marketing group. Seabourn markets its ships as "The Yachts of Seabourn," and the ultra luxury ships do in fact feel like private yachts; or, more aptly, private clubs. The 208-passenger sister ships Seabourn Legend, Seabourn Pride, and Seabourn Spirit are nearly identical, and all create an intimate environment where wealthy passengers can unwind with their peers, enjoy fine dinner cuisine and solicitous service, and visit exotic ports around the world.

Life Onboard
Life Onboard Seabourn passengers are used to the very best, and for the most part, they get it. All cabins are suites and are well-equipped with designer soaps, a complimentary bottle of champagne, TVs with VCRs, Bose Wave sound systems, among other amenities. Nearly all cabins have bathtubs as well, and so Seabourn created its “Pure Pampering” program: a menu of Molton Brown aromatherapy bath salts is available, and cabin stewards will draw the bath.

Dinner service, with complimentary wine, is as fine as at the grand European hotels; bar drinks are complimentary and refilled promptly. Free mini-massages are offered for two hours daily on deck. And an abundance of space and the small number of passengers means no annoying crowds or lines.

On each cruise, at one port of call, Seabourn offers a free shore excursion to which all passengers are invited. Such events often are a highlight of the cruise; examples include an outdoor folkloric dance performance in Greece; a visit to a private villa in Malta; and a ride in a glass-roofed boat along a canal in Amsterdam.

Fellow Passengers
While many passengers are likely to be American, international passengers also cruise with Seabourn. All are likely to be well-off and well-traveled. Conversation often includes past and future trips, since Seabourn passengers are intensely loyal to the line, and as many as half the passengers on any given sailing may be repeaters.
