"Yay! What incredible value for money! It isn't the Ritz, but the room was comfortable, clean, the water was hot and it was a bargain on one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. If you feel like being budget-conscious, but still want to go somewhere beautiful go here. We've got plenty of money, but what we saved on accomodation here - we got to spend of lots of daytime activities! After all, it's just a sleeping quarters! And you are able to go down to the pier and immerse yourself...

"Incredible place to stay in Bacalar the palapa dock was perfect and the water was incredible. Cute place great for a family with a full kitchen and fridge. A couple of kayaks are included and my kids loved taking them out on the water as well as swinging off the dock on the rope swing. Only complaints were that the AC unit is very small for the space and has trouble keeping up and that the pillows and beds weren't great quality or very comfortable. "
