You wait on yourself, the coffee is in paper cups unless you ask for a mug, little flexibility (you can’t have 1 egg), etc. The order is brought to you & the food is good, but for the price you pay to stay there, a customer friendly service is expected. 2) at checkout the computer system was down. "

"We loved our stay! The reception desk was always staffed with considerate and hospitable people. And the extra amenities like a welcome beverage, pineapple cookies and coffee were a nice touch. The room itself wasn't large but the bathroom was big and the king sized bed was more desirable than space so it still felt comfortable. The room comes with cozy robes and a cute stuffed dog that you can take home if you want to make a donation to a dog rescue - how cute is that? I took off one star...

"The hotel is in the center of Gaslamp Quarter in San Diego. There are numerous restaurants and bars within walking distance of the hotel. Petco Park is also within walking distance. Drive time to the San Diego Zoo and the museums in Balboa Park is about ten minutes from the hotel. The staff is very friendly. On the negative side, valet parking is $65.00 per night and the rooms are very small, but cozy. I enjoyed my stay very much."

"I like that it was close by to restaurants and shopping areas. I didn't like that there was only valet available and no regular parking for guests. "

"Our room was on 10th floors as requested since we stayed at BW for 7 nights. We did clean ourselves by choice, there was no need to tidy up the room every morning. In the morning we asked the housekeeping staff to give us garbage bags to replace the used ones. Everything was just perfect including "Grab and Go" breakfast, the ocean view from the balcony was stunning. Proximity to all tourist attractions in the area makes this place very convenient. My husband and I will be definitely back."
