"Overall the stay was good. Ambience was excellent. Location is very close to the airport. Things which could have improved is the lighting in the room and bathroom fittings. Lighting in the room was poor and was a dim light. Bathroom taps and toilet flush have become old. It is functional though. "I spent only two nights at Fort House and wished I could have stayed longer! It is located on the edge of Fort Kochi's central area, it is an oasis but still within walking distance--and there is no shortage of tuk-tuks. They are working on the road, but don't let that dissuade you--the inner courtyard garden is beautiful and the outdoor dining areas are lovely. It sits on the straight between the sea and the backwater, so I had breakfast with the birds--so peaceful. And the breakfast was among the best on my trip. The room was large and nicely decorated. The staff was plentiful and friendly and requests were met almost immediately. I will, without a doubt, stay at Fort House again when in Kochi! "
