"I liked that the cabin is fairly isolated. It was a great location to watch and photograph the Perseid meteor shower. The host was very friendly and accommodating. The only thing I did not like is the lack of running water at the cabin. A very minor issue for me as someone who has done a lot of camping. I would definitely consider staying here again some time. "

"Dan was super nice and accommodating. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel, look elsewhere. It you want a large, clean farmhouse, this place is for you. Being a working family farm, expect to see a tractor or two going in and out. We really enjoyed sitting on the wrap around porch with a book watching the cows. Lilly, the family's dog, was super friendly and may come to visit you. We will definitely go back! Thanks again Dan!"

"Nice house, well laid out and with everything you need. Everything worked well, manager was very pleasant, responded quickly and checked to make sure everything was going well. Awesome small town, half hour from Chatfield ATV trails, half hour from Forestville, Rochester nearby. Worth every cent."

"Lady at the front desk was very rude. I reserved my room through Expedia with the wrong date;(my fault) so I called to see if I could change it and she refused to help me and had the snobbiest attitude. I think she said her name was Dorothy or dilua something that started with a D. The lady that actually checked me in was nice though. She said she had worked there for 16 years she was nice. Bottom of entry way door was rotten and should be replaced."
