"Kappa Senses is an excellent property. I loved my stay with them. The rooms are stunning - I was in a private villa. The food was delicious and I appreciated that there were gluten free options available. The staff and the service were fantastic and they went above and beyond everyday - even running after me to return my Louis Vuitton wallet filled with cash and cards that I somehow left as I was checking out. I’d definitely stay here again if I were to ever return to ubud. The only things I’d note for other travelers to consider would be that if you are looking for zen, there were children around so a private villa would be the way to go. I also wasn’t expecting so many people to be smoking and would’ve loved a smoke-free area at dinner and by the pools. The resort is also just off the main road in Bali which is quite busy and dangerous to walk along so you will need transportation into/around ubud (the hotel provides a shuttle). "

"Paradise retreat after busier areas of Bali. It feels like a grand hotel of old with Incredible views, amazing staff - in particular ‘Goose’ provided our table with an absolutely 5 star dinner service. Good selection of food and wine. Spa service was terrific. A real highlight for us was doing the bicycle tour organized by the hotel with the wonderful Resa through the historical town and nearby rice fields. Such an authentic adventure. A very special place! Amazing value."

"The first thing to really note is that this hotel has some of the best staff in the world. They went above and beyond on a daily basis to not only make our stay extremely comfortable but also that our kids felt welcome and safe. Our two kids loved the staff. They also helped us with transport wherever we wanted to go and nothing was too much trouble. The food was very nice but the facilities were quite limited while we were there. No lunch, pool bar closed, no tasting menu's etc It was just coming into season, and we weren't aware that the menu would be as limited as it was, and with young kids we were largely reliant on the hotel for dinner every single night and with the limitations it did get a little repetitive. So again, food was good but it would have been nice to know that it wold be limited upon booking. Room was very nice, pool was excellent and housekeeping were excellent. It's next to rice fields and in the jungle so you have to expect a lot of insects and we had a Gecko in our roof, which we didn't mind at all but I know some people would. So just know that you're booking a hotel in the jungle. The views were absolutely outstanding and all the locals were friendly. We used the hotel to take private tours and we really enjoyed this. It was informative, useful and really helpful for us. Just need to be aware that traffic is really bad so whole day trips will take a long time, the hotel offer full day trips to different parts of Bali and it will take that. "

"After we arrived early they offered a free shuttle into Ubud which we enjoyed..pool service and all meals were excellent! They even provided breakfast before the posted hours for us the next day as we had a tour to go on! Thanks so much!"

"Komaneka brand is one of the best luxury hotel brands in Bali. This is our second stay at Tanggayuda in last couple of years and we really like the comfort and personalisation given to us during our stays. We requested to have Indian food selection at breakfast and the team at Komaneka were very accommodating, every staff at the restaurant knew the food preference and name of the family members. So much detail in service level is exceptional. Special thanks to Litsya (front desk) and Ngakan (chef) which made our stay with our parents memorable, we will definitely stay at the hotel again in Ubud. My only recommendation will be to add few child friendly activities other than draw and paint, maybe a small play area or toys for children of all ages should help keep the little ones busy."
