Canmore Hotel Hostel
1.5 star property
7.2 out of 10, Good, 101 reviews
"Everything was at the level I expect for hostels. Unfortunately that includes the bed. It was very uncomfortable. Considering it is such an old building I was actually impressed with its condition. The staff member who was working when I checked in carried my large suitcase up to my room for me as well. I am not used to staff who actually care at hostels, so big thumbs up there. "

Banff International Hostel
1.5 star property
7.6 out of 10, Good, 238 reviews
"My first hostel stay and it won’t be the last! I lucked out with a clean room, great roommates and the location was perfect and walkable to shopping and restaurants. Liquor store onsite, decent variety of breakfast although I found the kitchen a little chaotic and confusion. Some signage would help! I’d definitely recommend this as an affordable place to stay while visiting Banff (hotels are outrageously priced, this was a fraction of the cost!)"

Samesun Banff - Hostel
1.5 star property
7.8 out of 10, Good, 226 reviews
"Love the breakfast in the morning, easy to socialize at the bar downstairs and get some affordable food and drinks. Service was excellent and very close to everything you need. Would definitely stay here again. Only thing is that the bunk beds are creaky so it’s hard to be quiet when you get into bed in the evening and the noise might be an issue for some."
