We did not have any problem with the hotel cleanliness, as reviewed by others. The staff were very friendly and attentive. During our booking, we had requested for 2 rooms furthest from the lift lobby. We were given the furthest room on the highest floor. Also, this was not our first choice to stay around the area. We ended up here because our first choice hotel (which is more expensive) was fully booked. But when we arrived in Batam, Artotel had looked newer and more modern than our first choice hotel. Will be back again.

This was my 2nd time staying at Artotel & the experience was wholistically pleasant; right from entering the hotel entrance being greeted with a friendly welcome & leaving the as we checked out. Location was accessible to Grand Batam Mall which made it more convenient.

5 mins walk to Reborn massage. Second time I am staying here. Spacious rooms, clean toilet. Could have added spare toilet roll. Room had left over rubbish from previous occupier and area in the corner wasn't clean. Still, great stay overall and I would return.

overall our stay was excellent. Everything was in order except that no hand towels were provided. Maybe the chamber maid was absent minded and forgot to include it with the bath towels. No problem we just called reception to request for the hand towels.

The hotel chambermaid did not do a good job. a pair of slippers was left on the coffee table together with the cups and coffee machine. Only 1 roll of half used toilet roll is available in the room. The hairdryer's handle is broken, i have to hold the joint wnen using to prevent it from bending back.

Spacious and clean room
Hotel is just opposite Grand Batam, many eateries nearby and easy to grab around. Walkable distance to BCS too. Hotel room is quite new, clean and spacious. Amenities can be improved like a soap dish for the hand soap and 2 small hand tower. Also put an extra toilet roll in the toilet.

Decent room size n minimalist hotel. Walkable to the Grand Mall but for us we find it a challenge crossing both side of the road. Although there is a pedestrain crossing nearby the cars does not stop for pedestrains. So you got to be brave and weave your way across which we find it scary. Rooms provide the basic amenities but not disposable slippers. Hotel will provide 1 key card n if need another key card a 200,000 rupiah deposit is required. Wifi in the room is good and has a coffee machine. (No kettle). We needed 2 key card so we could use 1 to keep the air-con running so to keep the room cool. Buffet Breakfast is simple and has basics like bread, egg station, some hot food. They even have a indo mee station which they will cook with option of dry or soup...is quite nice. Special thanks to Monica at reception for her friendly service and extra mile in telling us to be extra careful crossing the road to the Grand Mall , offer to help us order freshly make Kueh Lapis with delivery to the hotel. In addition booking a Grab to Harbour Bay Ferry Terminal. Overall the team at Artotel is friendly always with a smile. Will defintely recommend this hotel.
