"Nice little cabin that’s close to town. The only thing is that it’s within 500 ft of multiple other cabins so there’s no privacy. “Private beach” means beach you have to wonder around to find. There’s no water view from this cabin, or anywhere to sit outside and even have a little fire. The walk up to cabin is steep, so just be aware! They’re no railing, it’s just rocks and tree roots, so sort of unstable. The cabin itself is nice. It’s your typical Maine cabin. There’s a tv with spectrum cable...

"It is a cute cabin but needs some serious maintenance. The entry slope would be improved by stepping stones along the very appropriate gravel path. It is a steep path and the stones can be slippery and awkward. The inside front door would benefit from a "wipe-your-feet" mat. The microwave, dishwasher and stove are nicely upgraded although we only used the microwave as we were just 2 and mostly ate out. There are 2 good heaters, one up and one down but they do not have fans so they do not heat...

"My husband and I stayed two nights, arriving late in the afternoon. We had no difficulty finding or getting into the property. The place was clean and the bed was comfortable. "I loved this little motel. It reminded me of traveling with my parents back in the '50s and '60s before the big chain hotels took over. Don't expect luxury.. It's not that kind of a place. Think knotty pine paneling and bathrooms with green tiles. The beds were very very comfortable and it's literally a 2-minute walk into town. One thing to note... Rooms 8 through 11 are on a bit of a hill and could be a problem for somebody with mobility issues so worth a mention."
