Equipped for social gatherings, with ample gardens the mill is situated in beautiful countryside. If you want easy access to the bustle of town and city life, it's not for you. If you want leisurely days, meandering through the local countryside, local villages and peace and quiet, this is the place to go."

"Nous avons profité de la nature en nous promenant en barque sur l'étang jouxtant la maison ou en balade dans une vaste forêt de chênes avec pour fond sonore le seul chant des oiseaux. La maison bien agencée pourrait être la maison de famille, avec un feu de cheminée bien venu en cette période pluvieuse. Notre hôte a porté une attention bienveillante à notre bien-être."

"I was hoping for a few days of quiet in nature, and that is exactly what I got. I remembered what stars look like, fell asleep to the sound of a river, and read to my heart's content, warmed by a real fire. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful and responsive. The cottage isn't too far from wine chateaux (about an hour) and a couple of ancient dolmens, not to mention the beautiful Vézelay Abbey (about 40 minutes), if you want to venture out."

"Nous avons séjourné 2 jours et tout c’est très bien passé . Je n’avais pas bien intégré que le logement était en fait le premier étage de la maison du propriétaire. Mais cette partie est indépendante et bien aménagée. La propriétaire est très attentive, discrète et nous avons pu profiter de la totalité du jardin pendant ce séjour ensoleillé"

"Tres chouette sejour, propriétaires tres sympa, piscine tres chouette avec tres belle terrasse. L appartement etant au dernier etage de la maison, il fait chaud pour la nuit bien qu une climatisation mobile est disponible. Tres bon sejour dans l etablissement, le diverti parc est a moins de 2km et chouette pour les enfants."

"Très agréable séjour, le gîte était parfait pour deux personnes, calme, accès facile pour séjour œnologique, à côté de la voie verte. Et superbes moments relaxants grace au jacuzzi. Notre hôte était très à l écoute de nos besoins. Je recommande ce gîte."

"We had a lovely weeks stay with 8 adults and 4 kids (ages 7-16) The house is well equipped and owners were friendly and helpful. It did help that my husbands mum and step dad speak fluently french as we may have struggled a bit otherwise with instructions regarding the spa and other bits. The pool was great and the house had plenty of room for the 12 of us. I think if anymore were staying you would need to be prepared to stay on the sofas that change into beds in common areas. The air...

"Warm cosy and comfortable property with 'character' and in a good location for visiting Vézelay and area. Renovated and modernised inside to a good standard, with pleasant outdoor seating areas. Bring your own teapot if you need one! A useful bread van comes 3 times a week with baguettes. Nearest village shops (in St Père) are about a 10 minute drive. Neither our 'school' French nor the owners' English was good so the booking process via the web site emails wasn't easy. The whole booking process...

"The photos don’t do the small house justice. The owners are both lovely and go out their way to help you make your stay, the most enjoyable it can be. The views are fabulous and theres no mention of the long and short walks, that start 50m from the property, travelling through the Forrest and finishing at a pub/restaurant 1km from the accommodation."
