The Flying Honu is located in the heart of Kona Town
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (17)
"Our host was very friendly, checked us in personally and showed us all the beach toys we could use--towels, cooler, umbrella, chairs, boogie boards, masks/snorkels. A lot of useful gear. He also suggested good snorkeling spots. The upstairs rooms had plenty of fans, was well-stocked for our stay, and we had so much room--three queen beds for just the two of us. The screened-in lanai was a cool spot for taking evening refreshments after sunset. Grocery shopping and "downtown" were just a short...

"I started at this property for 13 nights. The location is very convenient - right at the heart of Kailua, with restaurants, shopping, the farmers market, waterfront, and Kailua Pier all in easy walking distance. The condo is surprisingly quiet, given its location right on Ali'i Drive. And easy access to the pool and hot tub was the "icing...

"My husband and I just completed a 5-night stay here and had a wonderful experience. Check in was a breeze, very friendly helpful staff, and our accommodations were simply wonderful.
