"Our family of four stayed at this lovely beach house over spring break. You can’t beat the location, just a short walk from the beach and not far from Carlsbad Village, grocery stores and restaurants. The home was very comfortable, clean and had a fabulous outdoor space. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals and we took advantage of the outdoor gas grill as well. "This place was perfect for a family vacation to Legoland and the beach. We arrived and the kids were immediately occupied by all of the toys in the play room leaving the adults the ability to unpack and get settled in without and interruptions. The house was stocked with everything you need for a day down at the beach, we really appreciated the chairs and big wheeled beach wagons to carry our stuff and the kids loved the plentiful beach toys."

"We very much enjoyed our stay, being right across the street from the beach was very nice. My son was thrilled there was a boogie board and a wetsuit to use. Close to walk downtown to shops and restaurants. The only hiccup was the listing says 3 bedrooms, which technically it is but the 3rd bedroom is not a separate room like you would expect. The hosts responded quickly to my inquiries. Overall, my family and I will stay here again. We loved our trip!!"

"Honestly great location. Close to shops and right on the beach. There should be a comment informing people from out of town that this is a pebble beach. We were looking more for a sandy beach. Right across the street from the outlets and the flower fields. A lot of choices around for eating, from fast food to seafood. We enjoy the Windmill food court which is on the same property.... You can get some drinks and everything we've tried has been pretty good, a little pricey but nice atmosphere and good quality food. Quick drive to the ocean. "
