"This stay was great but short. Everything from the bedding to the lobby to the restaurant was perfect. Only thing that they need to improve is fixing the Jets in the Jacuzzi because the pumps evidently are not working. "Nice view to the Arenal volcano from the patio and beautiful jungle full of flowers and hummingbirds in front of you! We stayed on the first floor so you have to keep the door closed at all times specially at night when the frogs comes out! The food at the restaurant was terrible, fortunately we had a car and drove to La Fortuna for dinner which is about 25-30 minutes away. The road is hard to drive so it was inconvenient after a day full of activities."

Perfect view, peaceful surroundings
"If anything, the name of this hotel ('pretty view') undersells it by a long shot! On a clear day you can see the sun rise over the volcano from your balcony and the view extends to the left over all of Lake Arenal. Stunning. My mouth literally dropped open when we entered our room and the big pane window was filled with a clear view of the volcano (we were lucky to arrive on a really great visibility day!) Loved the staff, very helpful and accommodating and kind. The pool has views of both the lake and the volcano. Slight discount at the restaurant for hotel guests and complimentary breakfast. Dinner was the best casado we've had, the desserts are beautiful and delicious, and our meal was accompanied by the sweetest little pup maitre d'😍 We were only there one night, but the location was easy to get to from Arenal Observatory Lodge, and I'd stay again for sure, and have already recommended to friends."
