Not enough signs to get to room (they need maps); kept getting lost as the multiple elevators were confusing and I had to walk a lot around the large hotel to find my room/car. No restroom in lobby near swimming pool so swimmers have to go to their rooms to use restroom...very inconvenient. Sloppy updates to room (i.e., paint on mirror, bathroom countertop not fitting properly). Had to use room pass to enter buildings which contributed to feeling secure.

The outside looked a little run down, but inside the lobby and the room, everything was updated and clean. The workout room was simple, but had the basics. The pool area looked nice, the breakfast was good enough and the staff was nice as well. We only stayed one night and it was exactly what we needed.

I was told the room was remodeled but didn't look like it. Carpet old and dirty. Lots of suspicious activity outside of hotel.

Had never stayed at a Clarion before and it was a last-minute trip. Upon arriving, I noticed the outside of the building was beyond rundown and inside was just as bad if not worse. My room was quite interesting. The TV did not work. The iron did not work. I had to quickly iron a dress, and it would not get hot at all and when you put water into steam, your clothes, the water pour out of the holes on the hot plate. Breakfast isn’t even worth going down for. When leaving in the morning, there was a giant cockroach in the hallway next to the elevator inside the lobby. Told the front desk staff member who said that he would get somebody to take care of it if you’re traveling alone as a woman I do not recommend staying there as it definitely is an uneasy location. The drapes do not give you much privacy at all you can see into every room . Turning the water on in the shower, makes a very loud noise that you can hear from every room so it’s not just your shower making the loud noise. Sounds like the pipes are rubbing together. You hear every single person walking by your room and you can hear everything from your neighbors on either side. My room faced the air conditioning units, etc. that are on top of the roof. Which were incredibly loud. I do not Recommend this place whatsoever
