"All in all, great place to stay. I would recommend spending the extra few bucks to stay in an ocean view room, as the other building across the street seems to get a bit less attention. We were assigned a room in the building on the north side of Front Beach Road, no beach/ocean view, but we were ok with walking across the street to get to the beach. The room was fine, clean and adequate to our needs. We unpacked and went to explore. When we returned to the room, some ants had appeared in a couple of spots in the room, which is understandable as we are staying at the beach there are bound to be bugs out there, but we wanted to bring it to the attention of the hotel. We informed Jimmy, the front desk agent working at the time, and he went above and beyond when he moved us immediately to an ocean view room and had other staff members, Marvin and Paul, help us gather our things and move them across the street. Every staff member we came in contact with was extremely friendly and helpful, we were blown away by the service! The property is a bit older, but well maintained. It’s very close to shopping and restaurants, as well as Pier Park which is only about a mile away with tons of shopping and restaurants. I would absolutely stay at the Palmetto again, and recommend it to anyone traveling to the area!"

"this sweet little cottage was clean and tidy When we arrived. There was a notebook with instructions and expectations in it, which made it very easy to make sure we were following the rules of the property. amenities were perfect. You could literally pack your clothes and go. we shopped at the local Walmart and filled the fridge and cooked our meals and went to the beach. We brought two of our dogs. The backyard was fenced and safe. Remember to keep your dogs on a leash and poop bags were even provided to clean up after your buddies. We definitely plan on bookiing again. this was a one bedroom cottage, so the bed would be ample room for two people, and there was a pull out couch that would sleep another two people. In my case, I slept in the bed and the kiddos I had with me slept on the pull out bed. It was close to PierPark and other attractions, as well as being able to view the beach from the driveway of the property. There was also an outside shower to clean often before going into the home if you were sandy from the beach. There was also an outside storage container that had floats and an umbrella that cod be used as well. they really thought of everything."

"I had to stop and sleep on a long trip home. It's a newer hotel on Panama City Beach off the Gulf but very convenient location at the corner of 79 and Back Beach Rd. It was like an efficiency apartment, and the bed was very comfortable. I walked next door to the gas station and bought drinks, and snacks. The staff downstairs both at check in and check out were surprisingly friendly and professional in today's climate. I am sure I'll stop there again."

"Simple room with bathroom. Located on the back of the house. Had the amenities you would need same as what would be in a hotel room. Short drive to the beach. They did provide umbrella and stuff for the beach."
