A great rustic comfy room just 4 miles from the northeast entrance to Yellowstone NP. We got here late & left early, but was the perfect gateway to our 3 days in Yellowstone. Great little town, Cooke City, MT.

Small town, great access to Yellowstone. Restaurants to be desired. Not great. Not a lot of places for food or drinks. Make sure you bring snacks and drinks. Room was clean and accommodating. surrounding area a little dodgy.

If all you're doing in Yellowstone, like I normally do, is looking for animals in the Lamar Valley, then there really isn't a more economical place than the Alpine Motel in Cooke City. Is it the Ritz? Absolutely not but if all you're concerned about is a safe, comfortable place to spend the night then you can't beat its cost-value ratio.

The room provided all our needs. Was warm on a cold night!!! Bed was comfortable We walked across the highway to the Miners Saloon and had a good bison burger for dinner

Exactly as described and expected..
Great stay while exploring Yellowstone and Cooke City. Cooke City is a very small mountain town with not many amenities... do your research! Our room (#11) was warm upon our arrival and cozy. Refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker were in the room. The queen bed was comfortable and we brought our own dinner and wine (in case restaurants were not open) There is a small table, chair and stool in the room as well. Thanks Chad! We will return on our next winter trip.

It's a good property for the price. I would stay there again. A piece of advice, Bring your own food unless you're there on a weekend. Because there's nothing open except the little pizza parlor across the street. They don't open till 4pm.

No frills motel is clean, comfy and spacious.
Nice and clean and comfortable. Spacious room was great for our family of 4 to spread out after a long day at Yellowstone. No frills, great stay.
