"This hotel, Fairfield Inn & Suites Baltimore Downtown/Inner Harbor, transformed ALL ROOMS to a "battered woman's shelter" and a security officer stated we should have been notified by the hotel and agencies involved. After a 2-hour drive, I had to find accommodations for 2 days on our phone. I receive confirmation emails from Hotels.com. DO NOT BOOK AT THIS HOTEL !!!"

"The hotel was well staffed, everyone was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Housekeeping service was ok. Beds were very comfortable. My reservation was incorrectly transferred from Hotels, but the staff quickly adapted and at same rate extended our stay as needed. "

"I have been staying at the Kimpton Monaco for years now. Rooms are comfortable and the spa tub is a big plus. The staff is friendly. The location is excellent for visiting downtown. Will likely return next year."

"The area is unsafe at night time but there is security and the staff is very nice. The hotel is undergoing renovations in certain areas inside. It was quiet with church bells in the background. I liked the breakfast. "

"Arrived at the hotel to check in. The doors were locked, phones disconnected, and website links broken. Someone from the area walking by informed us that the hotel had apparently closed down. We were left stranded in Baltimore without a place to stay and hand to find friends to stay with at the last minute. Words cannot express how remotely not okay this is. The hotel doesn't even exist anymore supposedly."
