"We had a great time staying at the Citizens. Everyone employed was so friendly. We caught Music in the Park and Sac Pride while being out there for a conference. Our room was bigger than expected. The food was so really good, especially their breakfast. I wish we had more time to explore their book of cases in the lobby wow. "
"This hotel was very clean and had a great breakfast with very kind staff. The only drawback was the very strong cleaning smell everywhere. We appreciate a clean place, but we prefer not to have such strong smells that hurt our noses. Otherwise, this place gets an A from us!"

"The staff was wonderful and I felt safe there. I love the adjacent restaurants and stores. However, the room was very dated and looked like it needed a deep cleaning I didn’t make it to breakfast but I’m sure it was good."
"spacious room, very comfortable and a good price. The bathroom tub was somewhat worn and cracked, and the spout for the sink was too small, which did not allow the water stream to clear the edge of the sink - in other words, you got the water after it first hit the edge of the sink - kind of gross.

"The highlight of this place for us was the location - a very easy 5 minute walk to old town, and also Macy’s in the other direction. The room size is fine and as expected. There was a fridge and microwave which was a bonus we were not expecting. The air con worked well. Shower temperature and pressure were good.
On the down side, the bathroom had a strong urine smell but since you couldn’t smell it in the main room, we didn’t bother reporting it as we had already made ourselves comfortable....

"The property itself was safe, but there were homeless around the Mcdonalds next door. Mcdonalds was the the only nearby dinning option."
