"What can I say? This property is above a hair salon, where I had my hair done before the family wedding I was in town to attend. And it is adjacent to an excellent pastry shop. Rick was very helpful going above and beyond to accommodate my family’s specific needs and even showed up for a small repair during our stay. He is clear and fair about arrangements and the apartment is as you see in the photos. My only suggestion would be to add some night tables in the bedroom."

"All rentals ahould take notes from this house. It has everything you need! Plenty of beach chairs, outdoor and indoor space, even a Peloton and weights! The location can't be beat, it's a short walk to a beautiful beach and central to all the restaurants and markets in Green Harbor. We can't wait to return!"

"Though Marshfield was a home during our younger years, it's easy to be bias. However, this home is a gem. Immaculately clean and the instructions for the home were clear and easy to follow. Damian, the host, was immediately attentive to our needs and he followed up to make sure everything was satisfactory. From the time of making the reservations to leaving the home, Damian and Cathy were professional and friendly. In the home, we took advantage of the fireplace which made the house feel warm, comfy and homelike. The living room was our hang out spot during the evening. The Star Market grocery store is approximately nine minutes away and it has all the necessities including organic items that you need. We walked on the beach every day. High tide was captivating to watch when it struck the seawall. The neighborhood was quiet and beautiful to walk around. Haddad's restaurant offers terrific seafood with great service. There is music on Saturday's. Boston was about a 35-minute drive and during the times we drove, the traffic was easy to navigate through. Recommend visiting Eataly. It is an Italian grocery store and restaurant with a large variety of food from Italy. Lots of cheeses and meats to choose from. We recommend enjoying a stay at this Nantucket oceanfront home."

"We rented this house for my son’s wedding and couldn’t have been more pleased. The house is elegant yet cozy, anything you need for your trip is there. The sunsets out the back over the marsh were something to see. Beautiful area. Also the property owners couldn’t have been nicer. Anything we needed, they responded promptly. I plan on coming back in the summer when the weather is warmer! Thank you for your hospitality."

"We loved this house and beach! Wish we could have stayed more than a week. Beautiful, updated, clean house as pictured. Very short walk to the beach. Easy communication with the host and the management company. The only things missing were a grill and microwave - if that is important to you as a renter."

"Our family really enjoyed our stay at "Home by the Sea." We had perfect weather, and enjoyed the ocean breeze. The water heater broke prior to our arrival which Jean kept us informed of the progress. Like all homes, things happen, but that didn't put a downer on our stay. Jean did everything to make it right. We truly appreciate home owners that open up their homes so others can enjoy them too. And as we all know, homes can have issues, and unplanned things happen. That is why we appreciate all that Jean did to make our stay at her home pleasant. She recommend great places to eat, and all those places treated us like locals. We took take away the first night from The Lobster Pound, and all we can say is yum! We also had another meal there since it was so good. We also enjoyed donuts and pastries from The Coffee Shack. We went there our first morning, and we mentioned that we loved scones, and they took our number to get in touch with us if they made some during our stay. They contacted us and we had a special order waiting for us our last day! The house is close for great site seeing in Plymouth. We loved the location so close to the beach, definitely walkable, but for our main day at beach, we had my husband drop us off with beach supplies, and he then brought van back to house and walked back with our dog. This beach community is so dog-friendly! We appreciate that Jean's beach house is dog friendly. We highly recommend this property and hope to visit again."
