Hotel rooms were very nice. Bathrooms were updated. Kitchen was average with very old appliances. Wifi was non-functional. With no cell coverage in this area, was expecting wifi to decent so that was a disappointment. Water pressure in bath shower and sinks was low and was barely workable.

For how expensive this place was they do not offer internet with the paid stay. If you want internet you will have to pay extra. Also for how close it is to Yosemite they do not offer transport into the park. You would have to pay extra for that as well. And when it comes down to breakfast guess what. It's not included. You will have to pay extra for that as well

This hotel is probably the closest facility to the park entrance. Pros: good size room (for two), small kitchenette, good location (10 minutes to entrance), balcony a few feet away from the beautiful rushing Merced river (very loud in may). Cons: a bit dated, funky shower (step into an enormous pink spa tub from 1960), limited restaurant services - a pizza place (good) and a mediocre American dine in joint. Not a great value in terms of quality but it’s the right place to stay if you can’t stay in the park.

Close to entrance of Yosemite, so that was good. River is loud, but still nice. and construction of 2 spas was our view. Asked for a chair , for the balcony and was told only 2 are provided (we were 3). Indoor chairs are too large for the balcony. Staff was simply “matter of fact” nothing more. Though, needed towels and those came quickly. Indoor pool is shabby looking. Our room has some mold above bathtub area on ceiling. Showers are cheap shower heads and one did not work. Skimpy on the toiletries. Disappointing- as this was the highlight of our 10 different hotel stays, and most expensive.

The Lodge is conveniently located near Yosemite NP. The room was comfortable and large. The dining options were just okay as was the food. Some of the staff wasn’t very friendly. But overall it was a good experience.

For a property that sits steps from a National Park it was quite nice. Is it the Ritz? No, but overall the property was nice and the room was spacious and had a great view of the Merced River.

Great location, but for the price the room could have been a lot better, wouldn't dare to step on the carpet bare foot, the carpet was just gross. The water pressure in the shower/ taps in the bathroom is just awful.

Being the only game in town, the food options were very limited, over-priced and average at best. A $32 New York Steak was the same steak as the $25 Pepper and Bleu Ranch Steak and was only 1/4 thick. If you sat in the back room of the restaurant and were unfortunate to get one of the tables sitting over the floor vents you froze.

We had a room next to the river and it was quite epic watching and listening to the water. I had a family member who on the other hand did not have a great experience due to the river because it was so loud that she couldn't sleep. I went to the convenient store in the property and they didn't sell ear plugs, which was quite surprising and would have been nice. Other than that, love the fact this place has a little kitchen with a mini refrigerator. Whenever we needed service, they were right on it. The staff are great.
