"James was a great host He made us feel right at home. Everything we needed was provided for us to make it a very comfortable stay. He even had maps and booklets for us to look up things to do in maine. We will be coming back."
"The cabin was nice and in a beautiful location. Not a far drive to all the attractions. Our only complaint would be the heating system. When it kicked on it made a very high pitched sound that would continue while it ran. It woke us up almost every night due to its proximity to the bedroom. This may not bother most people but we are both light sleepers and feel its worth mentioning. The waterfront is beautiful. We spent alot of time enjoying the view. The bed/mattress was just ok. We would stay...

"We had 9 adults and 1 six year old at this property. It was a beautiful lake front home with plenty of room for all of us to gather together. We all had a wonderful vacation and would highly recommend this home. There was one canoe, one kayak and 2 tandem kayaks for us to use which we did several times. Hearing the loons in the evening made my stay even better"

"We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Joshua’s property! The house was clean, well-maintained, and provided all the comforts we needed for a relaxing getaway. The detailed instructions Joshua provided made our arrival and stay seamless.
The location was perfect for exploring the area; we particularly enjoyed hiking Cadillac Summit and Jordan Lake, which offered breathtaking sights. The private beach access was a wonderful bonus, and we had a great time.

"This is a charming and cozy house. We loved looking at the view and the wildlife. It was an easy 35-40 min drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor and then back home to the quiet privacy at this spot."
"Sunset House is a beautiful house. We enjoyed every moment of our stay. The house is well equipped. It is decorated perfectly. The house is secluded and sits right on the water. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Thank you!"
"13 of us, aged 1 to 84, enjoyed this year’s family Girls’ Weekend at the Jarvis Homestead. Lots of room to gather, chat, eat, and play. Bedrooms aplenty—all with comfy beds. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking all weekend (including salt & pepper). The hot tub was a hit. Convenient location for walking and exploring downtown. Thank you for everything. We will be back!"

"The hotel is in an amazing location! We very much enjoyed our stay and would come back. The only critique I have is that the hotel layout can be confusing. Only one elevator goes to the basement level but there’s no sign that indicates that. Also, there is a stairway to the pool and hot tub that is visible from many of the rooms so it looks like it’s the exit to the main outside area. However, it’s attached to the restaurant and apparently the staff get annoyed when people use those stairs to get to the outside area. The signage for the staff-approved exit to the outside area should be improved to avoid confusion and tension between guests and staff. "
