The property is on the widest section of beach, we used the beach service and jetski rental, in a non-crowded section of Fort Myers Beach. Easy and friendly check in and great service. "Island Inn and the overall area are still recovering from the Hurricane that impacted SE Florida. The staff was very friendly and helpful and our accommodations were in excellent condition. However, there are few amenities on property and one damaged building on property that will need to be demolished and rebuilt. There was a grocery store and restaurants close by but many of the businesses are still closed. The beach is in good shape with tons of shells but beware the no-see-ums. Wishing...
