We were super impressed with the room . The view of fernery and the wild birds that were within arms reach while enjoying a glass of red on the back deck was truly special. Thank you so much for a wonderful relaxing comfortable stay. Located walking distance to Main Street and restaurants but still peaceful.

The best accommodation I stayed in during my NZ travels. Beautiful rooms, comfortable bed, great kitchen etc. From the room, you have a wonderful view of nature from the patio. The Australian manager (can't remember his name unfortunately), at check-in, was very friendly and took the time to share the best walks and restaurants in the area. I can't recommend this hotel enough.

Wonderful, beautiful hotel
Very friendly managers and check in was quick and pleasant and we were given lots of information about the town and restaurants. Parking was easy and the hotel is close to everything. Beautiful room, the fire place was such a nice touch on a cold day in Franz Josef. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it ton anyone wanting a great stay in Franz Josef.
