The room was fine considering the rate.I was surprised that the kitchenette water service was shut-off.When I mentioned the incident to the managers they slipped me a pre-typed note with the Motel owners email address on it to complain as they said he is not responding to the needed repairs for some time! Sad to say.

THe rooms was just what we needed for a working weekend. 3/4 of our band stayed there this weekend. The only drawback was the headboard of the bed needed to be padded and the bed needed more pillows. One was not enough.

I felt very uncomfortable on the site. I am a confident, well-travelled, mature female so this is not usual. The site was likely a fine place for family travel in the 70s but needs a momentous upgrade both on the property and in the rooms. The parking area had snow through much of it so it was evident only a few vehicles had been around. After checking in, the access was around the side (unshovelled) and through a keyed double door into a courtyard that was dim & unused. Both times I accessed my room I felt that someone could readily be lurking and there was no support if I encountered trouble. After dinner out I returned to my room at 9:30 and again felt very uncomfortable.... such that I hardly slept and was up and packed by 8:00. The room was adequate but fading and I'm sure the bed was the original one! I had booked for 2 nights and chose not to stay any longer. Unfortunately (because I booked through Expedia) the receptionist was not at all sympathetic to my concerns and said I would just have to pay for both nights even if I checked out. Bottom line was $310 for one night! The photos and website description are not accurate!
