"My family was super excited about the place and location of the Condo but when we arrived at the property the dishwasher and ice machine in the fridge did not work and when we contacted Vacasa they said it was an owner issue. The plates and mugs and silverware were not clean from the outset so we hand washed every item before using it. We then hand washed after every meal. ( There were 6 of us so a ridiculous amount of vacation time was spent at the sink!) The condo is in an amazing location but...

"Just what the pictures show! The view through the open doors was amazing. We constantly watched for whales, watched the clouds play on Moloka'i's peaks, watched the brilliant sunsets, and tried to count the stars. "Large house that easily accommodated our family. Outside deck has fabulous ocean views. Whales and sea turtles were abundant and great to watch. The house was fairly well appointed, but a bit dated. Upstairs shower leaked into the master bathroom. Wine coolers did not cool. Communication with the property team was excellent and they checked in with us throughout our stay. Overall an excellent property."

"This home is perfect for groups of all ages. We were a family of twelve and the space was perfect. The beds are all king size and the rooms were spacious. The location is wonderful and the support team is responsive and timely. Very helpful. Staff were amazing. The only downside is there are pool and hot tub hours restricting usage, you can only use the pool and hot tub from 8:30am-7pm due to an agreement with the neighbours. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was as expected from the listing. We enjoyed many wonderful moments on the lanai. It truly was oceanfront. We had front row seats to watch the whales (my personal favourite), view beautiful sunsets and rainbows and see the sea turtles. "My family of 7 stayed at the condo and it was amazing. From the time I booked to the time I checked out, the hosts were responsive and answered all of my questions despite how annoying my questions were. "The property is comfortable and has all you need during your stay. The condo is well furnished with kitchen and beach gear. Grocery and snorkel/beach equipment rentals very nearby, albeit expensive. The onsite point person reached out numerous times to make sure all was good with our family. A very easy booking process, as well. Honokeana Bay had amazing snorkeling right out your front door. "This unit is in great shape and the windows all open to allow air flow. There is no air conditioning but we slept with the windows open and could listen to the ocean all night. The grounds and facilities are immaculate. The pool was close with plenty of chairs. Lots of turtles on the little beach area!"

"Great condo with a great view. Perfect spot for a getaway without the kids. Unit was in great condition and it’s clear the owners take good care of it and ensure it’s up to date. Views from the lanai were perfect for whale watching. Complex grounds and landscaping are beautiful and create a great Hawaiian feel. "This was a well placed location with great ocean views, and walking distance to the pool. The parking lot is small and hard to get a space unless you are there first thing in the morning. The spaces are painted ridiculously small too. The couch and bed are horribly uncomfortable! We did not sleep well at this location, at all. "The unit we rented was clean and had most of what we needed. The microwave was very dated and should be replaced for safety purposes. The bedroom door was warped and wouldn’t close. The hide-a-bed had a urine stained mattress cover and no bedding for it. The fridge ice maker was broken but ice cube trays were made available. The walls are very thin. "We LOVED Hono Koa! So much so we didn’t want to leave. We are a family of five and two bedroom and two bathrooms were perfect for our family. We loved having a kitchen and bbqs and we cooked at the condo most nights making the trip much more affordable. We loved the pool and the grass area where we watched the sunset every night! We loved our neighbors and had an AMAZING TRIP! "
