Hostal La Ermita - Hostel
2.0 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, 11 reviews
"I booked a single individual room and when I arrived they tried to trick me telling me it was actually a dorm but when they found out I knew spanish very well they decided to respect my single individual room reservation. It was only one night so it wasn't "convenient" for them but I am so thankfull they decided to respect my reservation and the young girl was nice but her mom gave me a look so horrific I would never look her way again."

Hostal Catedral - Adults Only - Hostel
2.0 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, 11 reviews
"The building is old, and lack of maintenance. The first room assigned to me had mold, walls very duty, and the smell of humidity was very strong. I asked for another room and the smelly feet odor was penetrated. The bathrooms had a smell of draining water and the temperature was very hot making it hard to breathe. The sheets were not clean. I found another room in a hotel for the same price and it was excellent."

Hostal La 59 - Hostel

"The receptionist at the front desk she was a cool lady but the hostel was too small to too small too many beds in one room the pool needed to be cleaned the kitchen was tiny it was just too small. I left the same day I got there and found a really nice executive suite for around the same price but with a nice pool clean room and my own space and very lovely and Mérida that turned out to be a nice vacation.."

"This hostel is for people who want to pay a low price and relax. The hostel has a nice atmosphere, but I prefer a hostel with more energy. The staff was laid back, but this has its own consequences . Bikes were advertised to be rented, but they were in disrepair. The breakfast was sparse- there wasn't enough food for the amount of guests at the hostel. The toilet in our bathroom was in disrepair for my entire 5 day stay (or at least a sign was there saying so). The hostel bathroom could have...

Ocean Villa. 100feet from beach and private
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, 10 reviews
"The property, pool, beach are all as pictured. Modern home right on the beach. We enjoyed the pool after our beach walks. Netflix and internet always worked, property manager, Gregorio, was great. The town is further than it appears, you are “out there”, but that is the point. Mother Nature rules the roost, flamingo tour and mangroves of Sisal are amazing. We should all respect the nature and old ways of life in this fishing village without impacting the locals negatively. Palapa Soco- yumm!"

Extended Suites Merida Siglo XXI
3.0 star property
8.0 out of 10, Very Good, 377 reviews
"I stayed there in 2020 and it was better, there use to be dishes to borrow but now they charge everything. I guess some guests could’ve broken some and it wasn’t profitable anymore. There used to be a morning snack and now there’s nothing. Quality has gone down but it’s still an okay suite with stove (was malfunctioning) and a fridge. "
