Where to stay in Irkutsk

So what do you think the two animals representing Irkutsk would be? It’s the Siberian tiger with a sable in its mouth. The city of Irkutsk is easy to walk around and fill of interesting buildings and other sights. Then get out to Lake Baikal, the deepest lake in the world. Look it up - it’s huge!

130 Quarter

Visitors to 130 Quarter like its museums and cafes, and 130 Kvartal is a sight worth a stop.

The city buildings are in desperate repair but lake Baikal is amazing. The roads in the city are beyond horrible and when it rains it is impossible to walk.

Город приветливый, от гостиницы не так уж долго пешком добраться до 130 квартала, а там и до набережной. 130 квартал, кстати, очень интересная задумка, там очень много туристов ходит, да и как я понял сами иркутяне любят это место
