We stayed there a night. The place is quite which is good. However, our experience there is not good. Somebody knocked door and window at midnight. We don't feel safe at that time. So we called 911. The next day, the front desk complained us lock the entrance door, and refuse to communicate. The front desk is rude. This is a bad experience.

I reserved a room in advance for $189. Their website said it was $119. The room was extremely small, with a shared bathroom. Only one very hard and uncomfortable chair. But it did have WiFi and an OK bed. Only option for a meal was the overpriced restaurant. We went to the Jackson Lake Lodge for a great breakfast at a reasonable price.

We booked this room as it was close to the entrance to the park. We arrived late due to traffic and nobody was working. Called the number of the hotel and was informed that we had to pick up our key at the pin board next to the office. Got our key and walked to room and an overpowering smell of raw sewage came clear to be a problem. When actually got into the room it didn't have a bathroom, as it was shared among 3 rooms and was not clearly listed. It said shared amenities which really meant to be that there were none. The room pictured on Expedia showed cute and cozy cabin feeling. This room was 70s wood paneling with dirty ceilings and flooring that was dirty as well. The TV didn't work, the bedside lamp turned on and wouldn't turn off, the thermostat also wouldn't turn off and stuck on a very high heat level as it was so uncomfortable to get any sleep. The door had a lock on it but a small child could have easily pushed it open when it was locked with no additional deadbolt which felt totally unsafe. No fridge or microwave and the food we brought had gone bad by morning time. The bathroom had 70 s style bathroom paneling, the vanity as well with an over used sink. The shower had newer tile walls but that too was gross the same as the sink. The door had a lock but it took could have been broken into with ease. The bathroom floors were wet and dirty as well the entire bathroom smelled of raw sewage. I will be filling a formal complaint with Expedia.

We stayed here for two nights the week before Memorial Day 2024. The weather was very cold, with a good bit of snow. The Hatchet Resort is only a few miles from the Moran Junction Grand Teton National Park entry station, and the drive to and from was beautiful in and of itself. Our suite was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom huge, and lovely, with heated floor a welcome bonus, given the weather. The suite provides a small Keurig coffee machine with a few pods including tea and hot chocolate, but if you're a coffee drinker, you may want to bring extra coffee pods, or even your own coffee maker and coffee. We had a beautiful view of the Tetons from our window. We ate at both of the property's restaurants and all our meals were delicious, and the servers very pleasant and attentive. In fact, all the staff we encountered were very nice, and helpful. The resort also has a lovely little gift shop, with some unique items, and everything was reasonably priced. We would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend this resort.

Although a bit far removed from any other options in towns, we appreciated the fact that they had a restaurant which provided us a good dinner and breakfast. It is a bit rustic, but clean and comfortable.

This was a lovely property to stay at outside Grand Teton NP. Spacious room, cozy beds, on-site restaurants for meals. Dinner and breakfast were great. Really liked that we could just back the truck up near the room to unload and load our luggage. Highly recommend staying here!

Log cabin like setting, with view of the Grand Tetons! Two restaurants within a hundred feet! There is a gift store there too. The shower in the room was a large walk in shower, the beds comfortable. Staff was very friendly.

My husband and I had a 2 night reservation at The Hatchet. I called the hotel at about 8:30 AM 2 days before my reservation to explain we had tested positive for Covid that same morning and we had to cancel our stay. We are 77 and were going to the Dr. that day and were willing to provide documentation to him. He was the manager. He told us we had not canceled in time. Yes it was two days before check in time, which was 4:00 PM, however, we had to have called before 12:01 AM that morning. There is no point in going into the discussion that followed except to say it ended with me saying we were trying to be responsible in not coming but it seems you would rather we come sick and expose other guests and staff. His response to me was “come right ahead” Needless to say we did not go and did not get a refund. Wow
