Most everything is walking distance or a very short drive and it had ample room in the garage to store sandy beach items and with small children, it came in handy. The host had great communication and was very responsive. "A beautiful property within walking distance from the Atlantic. This house was all that the site described, and more. We enjoyed the fully supplied kitchen, comfortable beds, washer/dryer and infant highchair and beach toys for our 1 yr. old granddaughter. We played corn hole, used the beach furniture and the firepit complete with supplied firewood. The hosts were accessible and our VRBO vacation was relaxing. We would stay in this property again if the opportunity arose."

"We decided to have a sister’s weekend and attend the Shrimp Festival. We had an amazing time. The view from the rooms to the ocean was amazing. Loved being able to walk a short distance to the beach and at dark sit on the balcony and enjoy the sound of the waves. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Plan to come back every year!"

"This is such a great hidden gem on Amelia Island. It is super close to the beach, a short drive to the main thoroughfare in Fernandina Beach, and in a quiet neighborhood. The house had all the amenities you could possibly need (wagon, beach chairs, sand toys) for a great beach day and was a relaxing place to return to each evening. My dad is already talking about making this our annual place to stay for our family beach vacations. 10/10 fantastic experience."

"We had a wonderful three night stay. The unit was exactly as described and was very clean and the kitchen was fully equipped. Loved the huge tv in the living room. Three unexpected bonuses: 1) the short walk on the beach to the Ritz Carlton where we went for lunch and drinks 2) The unit was two stories which really gave us a lot of extra room. "exactly as described and well managed. host has chairs and other beach items to use. lots of turtles in area and beach was great. walk to beach is around 300 yards so bring rolling coolers. pools are not heated so winter stays are cold!"

"We enjoyed our stay at the Cason House. We were there for a wedding that was in Callahan. The location was perfect for us and close to everything in the Amelia Island area. We arrived three days before the wedding so we could explore the area. We had six people in our party and the house was very comfortable for all of us, including my 94 year old dad. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch having coffee every morning. Privacy was good as the house is the last one on a dead end street."

"My sister & I stayed here while visiting our parents, who are in an Assisted Living facility. The house is clean, spacious, and easily accessible for our parents, who use walkers. Loved the kitchen, which was quite well equipped, and large enough for 2 people to work in. We loved the upstairs porch!! Easy and interesting walk into town."
