"Very basic hotel but comfortable enough for the week I was there. It could do with a bit of love, but was otherwise clean and safe. The a/c in my room sounded very asthmatic but it lasted the week and worked well. Opposite the hotel is a bus station if that's your thing, one stop away from the main north-south route which will get you anywhere in Jakarta. They are easy to use but you need to buy a swipe card. "Definitely our fault for not researching where this hotel was located. Photos appealed as it was a leafier looking hotel which is unusual for Jakarta. We had no idea (and it is not evident from the information available on hotels.com) that it was essentially in the middle of an amusement park. The excessive noise was horrendous.
