"This is a beautiful and historic hotel right in the heart of downtown Charleston. The art throughout the hotel is interesting and unique, and is worth seeing on the art tour. It’s very close to many great shops and restaurants, as well as the waterfront and fountains. The room, while small, was comfortable and well appointed. And when we asked if there was a refrigerator available (for beverages and leftovers) and within minutes one was delivered to our room. Excellent service and attention throughout the hotel, except for at the Rooftop Bar. The service at the Rooftop Bar was surprisingly inattentive and aloof, although the food was very good. Overall it was a great stay."

"Love that they had snacks after the breakfast bar closed. Fresh homemade cookies and individual packs. Some jelly beans and dispenser and pink lemonade. The pool was very very nice"
