"After doing some research of the various areas we wanted to stay I had narrowed it down to Kihei, Lahaina, and Waimea. These were the prime areas for good eats, best beaches, and in close proximity to shopping. Having said this, there are literally hundreds of units to stay even in Lahaina. Narrowing the search more, I knew I wanted an ocean front view, a kitchen because I like to prepare my own meals and walking distance to a beach for the kids. All the criteria were met with this place...

"Probably one of the cleanest rooms I’ve stayed in. The balcony directly faced the ocean with Molokai in full view."

"Very close to beach and clean. Kitchen had everything I needed. Safeway grocery store is about 10 minutes drive. Location is a bit remote to travel and see the other half of the island."

"Royal Kahana is showing it's age despite the construction going on which made lots of noise during the day. Our unit was nicely renovated. The sliding glass door was noisy at night due to the high winds. Staff and security were very friendly. Parking was easy to find. We would come back."
