"My family was super excited about the place and location of the Condo but when we arrived at the property the dishwasher and ice machine in the fridge did not work and when we contacted Vacasa they said it was an owner issue. The plates and mugs and silverware were not clean from the outset so we hand washed every item before using it. We then hand washed after every meal. ( There were 6 of us so a ridiculous amount of vacation time was spent at the sink!) The condo is in an amazing location but...

"Just what the pictures show! The view through the open doors was amazing. We constantly watched for whales, watched the clouds play on Moloka'i's peaks, watched the brilliant sunsets, and tried to count the stars. "Large house that easily accommodated our family. Outside deck has fabulous ocean views. Whales and sea turtles were abundant and great to watch. The house was fairly well appointed, but a bit dated. Upstairs shower leaked into the master bathroom. Wine coolers did not cool. Communication with the property team was excellent and they checked in with us throughout our stay. Overall an excellent property."

"This home is perfect for groups of all ages. We were a family of twelve and the space was perfect. The beds are all king size and the rooms were spacious. The location is wonderful and the support team is responsive and timely. Very helpful. Staff were amazing. The only downside is there are pool and hot tub hours restricting usage, you can only use the pool and hot tub from 8:30am-7pm due to an agreement with the neighbours. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was as expected from the listing. We enjoyed many wonderful moments on the lanai. It truly was oceanfront. We had front row seats to watch the whales (my personal favourite), view beautiful sunsets and rainbows and see the sea turtles. "My family of 7 stayed at the condo and it was amazing. From the time I booked to the time I checked out, the hosts were responsive and answered all of my questions despite how annoying my questions were. "This unit is in great shape and the windows all open to allow air flow. There is no air conditioning but we slept with the windows open and could listen to the ocean all night. The grounds and facilities are immaculate. The pool was close with plenty of chairs. Lots of turtles on the little beach area!"

"This was a well placed location with great ocean views, and walking distance to the pool. The parking lot is small and hard to get a space unless you are there first thing in the morning. The spaces are painted ridiculously small too. The couch and bed are horribly uncomfortable! We did not sleep well at this location, at all. "The unit we rented was clean and had most of what we needed. The microwave was very dated and should be replaced for safety purposes. The bedroom door was warped and wouldn’t close. The hide-a-bed had a urine stained mattress cover and no bedding for it. The fridge ice maker was broken but ice cube trays were made available. The walls are very thin. We could hear our neighbour snoring at night. Every footstep or furniture movement from above sounded extremely loud. Garbage pick up was also...

"This was our third stay at Napili Shores since 2010 and it’s our favourite place to be on Maui. The condo was as advertised and our property manager Kim was awesome to deal with. The property is well looked after and all the staff are friendly and helpful. The on-site rental shop is run by a really nice local family and they have everything you could need for a fun day at the beach or on the water. "Royal Kahana is showing it's age despite the construction going on which made lots of noise during the day. Our unit was nicely renovated. The sliding glass door was noisy at night due to the high winds. Staff and security were very friendly. Parking was easy to find. We would come back."
