Centrally located 10 minutes north of the Lihue airport, next to the Coconut Marketplace. Islander on the Beach is sitting on 6 acres of beautifully manicured gardens with swaying palms trees and cooling trade winds. This ocean front resort features a gorgeous pool and hot tub and is home to the local Sand Bar.

Second floor studio unit with king bed and full sized sleeper sofa. Partial ocean view and fully stocked kitchenette with micro fridge, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker and tea kettle (no cook-top). Perfect for a small family or traveling friends. Great place to stay.
There was quite a bit of hair on the bathroom floor and the shower walls still had cleaning product smeard on them that never got washed off. Other than that, the place was great! Awesome location to food, things to do, the beach and a pool. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed here for 4 nights and very much enjoyed our stay. The place is small, not much room for luggage or more than 2 people but the bed was very comfortable. Very close to the beach, free parking and check in was smooth and easy.

Great location
Great central location. It's close to the airport and half way to Princeville or Waimea. Islander on the Beach is a nice clean resort right on the beach. There are restaurants, shopping and a grocery store across the street. The room is an end unit which was nice because it had an extra window that brought in a lot on sunlight. The room is small but has everything you need including beach chairs, beach towels, a cooler, boogie boards, etc. It's perfect for a couple and maybe a small child. My only complaints are the room was dimly lit at night time and the bathtub didn't drain properly. I texted Kristen with the issues and she was very responsive. She was able to get a plumber to come out on a Sunday. We had a great stay in Kauai.

Perfect vacation home base
We loved this place! Great location to explore the entire island. They provided beach chairs, boogie boards, and a cooler and those little additions made our visit even better. The bed was super comfortable which was much needed after filling our day! Perfect spot for those who are doing their vacay to the max, but still want a hot tub and comfy bed in the evenings!!

We loved every moment of our time in Kauai! The rental is perfect. We are a family of four so it was a tiny bit cozy, but it all worked out just fine. The area of where the hotel is is one of our favourite spots on the island now! Super accessible to all of the beautiful spots on the island. Really enjoyed our stay. Thanks so much!

Clean and comfortable. Appreciated the Welcome Basket. Close to airport, Waimea Canyon, and other areas of interest. Loved the location by the Coconut Market Place...lots of good shops and restaurants within walking distance. Great Farmer's Market held there on Tues and Thurs. Good books to read. Close to the beach, plus there was a nice pool and hottub. Can't remember corresponding with Kristen, but didn't feel a need to. The place had everything we needed. We would love to return someday. Still waiting on the return of our security deposit.

Perfect little location
Loved the stay. The property was nice. Amenities on the property were perfect (eateries, shopping), and the cooler and beach chairs were a nice thing to have as we booped around the island. Great central hub for all our adventures.

We loved the property. It was a perfect spot to be able to walk to everything. Beach, pool & hot tub! What more could we want! Only issue we had was no laundry service ( 8 days & 2 kids) but overall had an amazing time!

The location is excellent. View the ocean through lush gardens friendly staff walk to variety of shopping and eating venues including a local market. Eclectic decor and tiny kitchenette but quite adequate. Very enjoyable.

Spring Break
My husband and I stayed here for 10 days. It was a nice property, the location close to the highway meant we could easily access other areas of the island on day trips. The Coconut Marketplace is about one third occupied with shops and take out food. We used the Country Market Place everyday for food supplies and their deli meals. Highly recommended . The resort staff were pleasant and always available. The pool area was clean and maintained. The beach was not swimmable and we found that was usually the case on most beaches in the winter months on Kauai. My main complaint would be that the unit is “tired” and really needs updating. Everything is worn out.
