"The cabin is very clean and has all the mod cons, even though you're in the middle of the woods. The firepit is a highlight. A great woodland getaway."

"The cottage was nice and quaint for our size group of 8 people. Everyone was able to have their own comfortable bedrooms, and there was lots of space both inside and outside to hang out. The wraparound deck with the screen was nice to hang out on. Backyard was decent space as well with patio furniture. The place was tidy and well kept, and the amenities were working fine, other than the fridge we had to turn up the energy because it wasn’t getting cold. Our only complaints about the visit were that sometimes it would be a bit warm inside, and there wasn’t really a way to turn down the temperature - only option was to turn on the fans that they have in the place. And also, that the transfer station to throw out the trash has poor hours and it isn’t guaranteed to be open on your time of checkout leaving you with bags of garbage and recycling to dispose of yourself. Would much rather have paid a little extra to not worry about that, as our group scrambled to find somewhere to dispose of our waste at the end. All that said, it was still a fun time, and it would be an ideal destination for Spring and Fall visitors. Thank you Sam for having us."

"We loved this cottage. Our teenagers could take out the kayaks and our one year old could splash around on the nice sandy beach. We loved the screened in porch and had a couple of fires at the fire pit. It’s an older cottage and there isn’t much privacy as far as sound goes inside but we loved the character of the place. The lake was lovely and weed free as described and we were swimming every day. There were a lot of chipmunks around and they are able to get into the screened in porch which was startling at first but kind of fun to watch them. The few neighbours who were around were very friendly but not intrusive. The property is quite private and was exactly what we wanted. Thanks for everything, we had a great time!"
