I thoroughly enjoyed the hot springs (pool) and the company of guests and management. I didn't need to leave my oasis, they also served delicious food. "It was picturesque. the view from our room is exactly like these pictures show, because we were upgraded to the mountain view room. The downside was there were a LOT of bugs, but not harmful ones. so many moths, large flies, etc, because it was the lake area. So you had to manage that in your room big time. "The villas are beautiful and comfortable but need maintenance which is difficult due to the climate and the size of the property. The service is very good. Cleaning could improve. With a little more care than the above, the hotel could be very good. The only thing that is very wrong is that they have 3 poor roosters locked up and suffering all day and night in 3 tiny cages. This is cruelty!!! Also when people take vacations they like to sleep late and the roasters woke up us at 5:00. Please let...

"This hotel is quite bad - water was leaking from the ceiling, bathroom is horrible, bed not comfortable, the staff slept on a mattress in the middle of the lobby area, a dog was crying all night long. Lucky us we only stay there few hours, before going to an early morning hike to Mt Batur volcano. I'll recommend to stay in another hotel or even in Ubud and waked up 1h earlier."
