Who was half closed? Elevators work, but we’re torn up My room locked itself from inside. Had to wait for someone open it who close at 8 o’clock, which is ridiculous and there’s nobody to bring our bags up, which is even worse cause I had a park all the way in the garage and bring my bag up.

I really like this hotel but these are the reasons why I wouldn’t give it 5 stars. 1. I bought my mom here to celebrate her 50th birthday to have a “Cancun” experience. The pools in Cancun are great and I chose this hotel because of their pool is really cool. Friday only 1/3rd of the pool was opened due to funding/staffing life guards. Saturday 2/3rds of the pools were closed again which was really unfortunate because we wanted to enjoy the pool but it felt crowded since the middle pool wasn’t opened. Sunday we didn’t even bother going to the pool. Such a damper on the weekend. 2. Only one working elevator in our building. It took a while to get up to our rooms. Other than that, I really liked our room. I booked a two bedroom penthouse which was very spacious. It’s just unfortunate that we couldn’t enjoy the pool like we had hoped. It was the main reason I booked this place for my mom.

Great location, 2 bathroom in one bedroom unit, love the housekeepers, very friendly and professionals. Didn’t like how only one elevator was working for the whole building the other one was out of service for our whole 4 days stay, so we had to wait for awhile to get to our floors, also they only had half of the pool open and at times was very crowded. We had stayed at this property in the past and loved our unit but this time we got one that was very outdated so be specific when you make your reservation that you want to stay on the updated rooms and in a building that has ice makers and laundry.

Not happy at all with this stay. I called before hand and asked at the desk "can we bring food and drink to the pool?". I was told "yes, you can bring food and drinks to the pool". Well, they lied or told partial truth. You cannot bring alcohol to the pool, and you can only bring snacks not food like sandwiches and such. Then half the pool was closed. Making the open half chaos with a ton of people. It was horrible! Ohhh, and check out is 10am, a little early but okay, and at 9am they banged on our door asking us to check out. We said check out is 10am we will leave by 10am. This was just an all around mess. I thibk we will look to other options next time.

Reservation was for 6 people and was told several times by at least a couple of front desks personnel (called hotel several times to verify procedures) that each of us could present our credit cards and charges will be divided equally among us. On actual check-in, we were told by Isaac that he could only accept one (1) credit card and that we had to settle among us. This posed a problem since we did NOT bring enough cash to settle, thinking we could all use our credit cards! In addition, some came from different countries and didn’t have enough USD (2) only one small restaurant for a huge resort (3) bath tub in one bathroom was too high (about 2 ft) and was very difficult to climb into

Everything was great about the property, our flight got delayed so we arrived after midnight to check in, the super nice lady offered us a late check out for the next day (noon) which we were so grateful for it, next day we took our kids to the pool and when we tried to come back to our room the key wouldn't work so we went to the front desk and the super rude guy that helped us tried to charged us for late check out, we explained and he said that our plane being delayed was not his problem and that he was gonna charge our card on file because late check out was not an option for our room....like WHAT???... Other than that guy everyone else was so professional and nice, property amazing, our first time staying there and will definitely come back.
