Río is a nice hotel but due to the renovation is kind of dark when walking some areas inside, swimming pools are top 10 !

Parking is so far removed from the towers where your rooms are, very inconvenient. When we got to our room, there was no hand soap available and one hand towel. The alarm clock woke us up beeping during the night and construction was going on after 1 o’clock in the morning in the room above us, we got no sleep, after we paid for an Upgraded room, not happy.

The Rio was fantastic, the room was big, always clean, and the pool was perfect. The only thing that I didn't like was that there was not enough staff to guide you, I got lost on the way to my room. Also when doing check-in by yourself the machine won't tell u your room number and keep in mind when visiting what elevator is the right one for your room, also if really busy, they are really slow and have to wait ab 10 min.

We reserved a jr suite, first one we got send to as soon as we walk in there was a very loud noise like something hitting the window (we were on the 22nd floor and the whole wall was glass) and in fact there was a loose rope with a hook at the end of it that was hitting very hard our all glass wall, we called front desk and their answer was this : Ah yes your suite is on the remodelation area of the hotel but not to worry the glass won’t break” as as we were talking the window got hit again and it was so loud that the person at the front desk hear it. She continued to let us know that he could change us if we were not comfortable in that suite because he understood it was very loud since he even hear the hook hitting the window, once we were back down at the front desk I ask if they were going to send someone to fix the problem because we thought it was very probable that the window could break and he said no that , that was going on for a few days now and that they had reported before so I ask him why they send us there if they knew that there was a problem? He said well I’m not sure because I didn’t assign the room and there was no notes on it and that also other guest that had stayed there didn’t complain????

Sketchy people loitering in the parking lot all hrs The room did not match the website it was old and shabby. The bell hops run of with your luggage. Did not have for over an hour. Had to look for it My boyfriend who is elderly had to lugged it to the room. By himself. Not cool at all.

I didn't like the fact that they charged me, a extra $50 to get another room after the first one was old, smelly, broken down furniture and dirty tub, torn or hole in the walls, dirty stained carpet. Tv stop working twice. Food wasn't good except one restaurant then charged me another $40 to stay until 4 after we didn't get to check in until after 11 on the 9th because of our flight. Flushed the toilet and the sink backed up on the last day. Didn't like the fact I was quoted one price and paying more for a room that I booked through Expedia. I will never stay at the RIO again

The bathroom was a little rusty. The pool closes at 5pm that’s too early. Wish they would close at 7 or 8pm. The stores closed really early. I wanted to go buy stuff at 7pm and it was already closed

The hot tub was freezing cold. There’s construction banging noises at 7am & front desk staff laughed when called to complain after two early morning banging noises.

The rooms are very old, dusty the towels had stains. The shower was very noisy and some of the knobs on the sink don’t close properly so we heard the water running all night

The rooms that were available online isn't what room I received. There wasn't a walk-in shower and the view was more parking lot than strip. Also, the makeup mirror didn't work and the carpet was stained. Obviously, I didn't get one of the refurbished rooms. Bait and switch in my opinion. I was offered-'upgrade" upon arrival for additional fees. I guess then I would have got the room that was originally sold to me.

I didn’t like the front kiosk helpers one in particular was really rude and really sarcastic when talking and didn’t help much and kept sending everyone to the line for check in . Other then that the stay was good and the pool was even better then we expected .

My son fall asleep on one of the beds and woke to bugs crawling on him. We killed a couple. Called HouseKeeping to replace all the bedding. As we waited, we removed all the bedding into a file on the floor. An hour later and still no housekeeping. Went downstairs to ask what was taking so long to replace the bedding. And if they could do anything about the bugs. Showed them a picture and told us they could ONLY move us to a different room. We moved. Which was better room however the air conditioner was not working correctly. The room was hot.

The property and staff were great. Also like the security of the elevators. The only reason I won’t return is the pools close at 5. While on vacation we don’t wake up early,get up go eat then return. That leaves very little pool time which is a big one for us.

Super nice after the remodel. Hash house and Guy Fieri’s restaurant had great good with huge portions at a decent price. Staff were very nice and always willing to help. Will definitely stay here again.

I'm from CA so walking into a place where indoor smoking is still allowed was weird to me. I feel like the pervasive smell of cigarettes made it feel cheap.

I had a lovely stay, the room was very nice and clean. It is not exactly on the strip but the walk over the bridge is not bad at all. Food options were great inside the rio and around the rio. Definitely recommend

The property was okay and clean! We were asked to pay $30.00 extra per per night if we wanted an updated, refurbished room, which we thought we would get automatically. We declined and got a clean 70ish room. I didn't like that there was no shuttle to the strip! We won't be going back to Las Vegas.

The casino was pretty empty, probably because it was Monday. The staff who checked me in were extremely nice and helpful. The room was really clean.

The hotel is old. The bed was comfortable. We were very unhappy that the hot tub was closed. The closed the pool at 5:00 pm. We checked in at 4:00 and didn't have a chance to use it since it was 1 night stay. Will not stay here again.
