The location is excellent. The staff are outstanding. This hotel would have more stars if it had room for more facilities. More attentive staff than some 5 star hotels I’ve stayed at. As many tarts as you like, any time of day or night plus port! The location is right in the middle of the tourist area and can’t be directly accessed by vehicle, so it’s a very short walk from drop off/pick up to the hotel. If either of these things bother you, this isn’t the hotel for you. Even though it’s in the middle of the tourist area, the windows seal well and block out the noise at night.

This is a lovely, well run hotel with very, very helpful staff. It is in the heart if everything which makes it convenient. The staff can help with everything and it’s good to get advice about where to get authentic Portuguese food as on Rua Augusta it’s pretty much geared to tourists. The rooms are efficiently and charmingly laid out. It might be a bit noisy at night.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Staff were outstanding...any time of the day...even at 5:00 in the morning! Even though we were downtown, we found the room to be quiet. Loved that it was so close to everything....dining and sightseeing.

The hotel was in a great place to easily get around, to the train & tram stations as well as to walk down to the riverfront & shops. It was very clean, friendly helpful staff and the breakfast was excellent. Only downside was it was very noisy on Saturday evening as there are lots of tables outside the many restaurants and as soon as we walked out of the hotel we got continuously asked if we wanted food, drinks etc

Hotel was spotlessly clean. Reception staff really friendly and helpful. Hotel is in an ideal position for exploring Lisbon and there are so many restaurants just on your doorstep. Great shopping opportunities as well. Breakfast is available in hotel but there are other options just outside if you choose not to eat in hotel.

Excellent facility, excellent service. Only blemish, which unfortunately was a big one, is that the property has an outdated heating/cooling system that cannot provide cooling during a warm day at the end of the winter season. Our room had to have been 80 degrees when we arrived- not a wonderful sleeping temperature.

The staff was sooo attentive and friendly. They greeted us with some Porto wine and pastéis de nata. The hotel's location is unbeatable! I would absolutely stay here again!

Very central, staff were very obliging and accommodating, they booked our restaurant for us. The hotel also dealt with my dietary requirements, if visiting Lisbon again we wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

The hotel is centrally located, making it easy to access all the popular sites and transportation. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and answered all our inquiries. Good breakfast- variety and timing. While there are signs in the rooms for reusing towels (and sheets), the towels are changed every day. Beware if you are noise sensitive or an early sleeper: there are musicians/performers that play just at the next corner, often with large crowds. It was nice to have the entertainment, but it does continue until 11pm (noise curfew).

Great location for solo female traveller
Great location for solo female traveller. Entrance in busy pedestrian street 2 minutes walk from Rossio Square and metro from airport. Lots of organised tours eg walking tour , go from here too.Very friendly and helpful. Provided me with a kettle in my room as requested when booked. Very nice breakfast , and a Portuguese custard tart and a glass of port given on checking in. Great welcome .
