"What a cute cabin nestled in the East Texas woods. You have complete privacy and it is so quiet you can hear the birds and the crickets. We loved the decoration amd set up of the cabin. Plenty of room for 2 people and your pups. We could hear the creek on the property and it just added to the ambiance. We were very happy with everything!!"

"Was not stocked upon arrival but contact with owner resulted in prompt delivery of necessities. Internet did not work which resulted in NO television for the entire weekend. Was a nice clean place and very comfortable."

"Wonderful...country...lake and quiet! Enjoyed our relaxation get-a-way time! Did some fishing but mother nature wasn't to kind with the weather. We didn't get to see one of their famous sunsets.The hosts were awesome. Very attentive to every detail and the above and beyond personal touches made us feel right at home there. We even bought one of Frank's unique one-of-a-kind wood working creations as a souvenier of our trip. Thank you Frank and Linda for a wonderful weekend!"

"The owners of this property are SO helpful, accommodating, and are so quick to respond to your messages and questions. The cabin is so cute and quaint, and has all you'll need for your stay. The pig sanctuary is right across from the cabin, and they really take the time to introduce you to the "residents", (they know all of them by name, and there's over 100 of them!),answer questions, and let you interact with the animals...who LOVE belly rubs, btw! My daughter and I had the BEST time, and...

"We were so happy. The cabin was surrounded by giant Oak trees. Sitting on the deck looking up at them is awesome, and we were looking at a private pier on a beautiful lake. We saw lots of waterfowl and just enjoyed it all. One note though. When my dog and I went to the end of our driveway to get the trash cans we were aggressively approached by 2 pit bull dogs. A white one; and a black one. I was able to separate them from my dog; but the black pit aggressively approached me. I just walked off....

"My wife and I chose this area for our 21st wedding anniversary and I did not disappoint. The lake with cypress trees was gorgeous along with the peace and quiet. The Cabot had everything we needed and the sleepnunber bed was definitely an added plus. Location was very close to local casinos and historic Jefferson,Tx.
