The property is old and needs to be more clearly described -- for example, "private bathroom" means a space reserved only for you - but at the opposite end of the hallway. Parking is very tight and needs to be reserved in advance - but it was not clear from the description. The third floor room without an elevator was ok for me but may not be for others. "

"From check-in to check- out our stay here was fantastic! The manager, Carmen, made the experience easy and seamless. This was my boyfriend and my first attempt at traveling with the 6 year old dog we rescued last year. Our friends recommended this location because the rooms are clean, spacious and close to downtown Pittsfield. The attention to detail was obvious from the start and so refreshing! This will be our go-to place to stay when we just need some New England air to recharge our Jersey...

"This motel is a joy! I defy anyone to find better staff & service in a 5* hotel... Excellent advice on where to go and eat. The beach is about 3 mins by car and walkable in about 10 mins. The motel and grounds are very well cared for with lovely shrubs and flowers around the property. No hesitation in recommending here!"

"The house was indeed tranquil and very clean. It included parking and was relatively convenient for our planned outing in Cambridge and our trip to the airport the next morning. The room was quite small, but the shared bathroom was convenient and clean. Before arriving, we received an email from the property informing us that check-in time would be 2 pm, but when we arrived a few minutes before 4 pm, we were informed that we could not enter until 4 (ultimately we got in a few minutes after 4)."

"The staff was very helpful, the room was nicely laid out, and the continental breakfasts were really good. It was pure luck that I found the foodpath up to the motel area from Atlantic St., but this made my room much more accessible. The only downside was thin walls - I could hear my neighbor's conversations very clearly."
