I found the room very small to fit a King size bed, to the point that we needed to avoid hitting the corner of the bed when entering the room. The mattress was extremely soft so it was a bit uncomfortable. Good air conditioning, the only issue was the bright digital display shining through across the room when you try to sleep. The food was great, I highly recommend the pizza margarita.

A Great Merida Escape!
Very nice accommodation right on the Malecon with a nice pool as well! Friendly staff who work hard to make you comfortable. Nice, clean large room with a great shower. I prefer a firm mattress but this was still quite comfortable. Such a nice visit!

The location is central to the area, with plenty of restaurants and shops, and the beach access was convenient, right across the street. Street noise and loud music at night was sometimes a problem. The room, on the third floor, with a balcony had a great view of the water and overlooked the pool area on the second floor. No elevator and difficult wide stairs with no hand railing from first to second floor. 2nd to 3rd floor stairs have railing, but dangerous concrete overhang (poor design) can cause head injury on the way up. There were a number of other safety concerns, such as no adequate warning for single steps down or up, and we witnessed several falls as a result. Also, platform bed has sharp corners, jutting out well beyond the mattress, causing injury. Water heater was a problem- no hot water most days, both in the mornings and afternoons. On the positive side, the staff was very nice, the restaurant downstairs was great, though they lost one of their siding curtains during a storm the second day and after that it was too windy to eat there many days. Room was clean and staff came in daily to make the bed. Aside from the above mentioned technical problems, the area felt safe and the people were friendly and helpful.

Excellent property. This is a beach hotel, probably the best in the area. Extremely clean facilities and room. Functional room with everything you need - modern - clean - and very very comfortable bed. The service was excellent from check in to check out and everything in between. The Italian restaurant has really become our favorite In Mexico not only because of the quality and taste of the food but the service and ambiance / beach front experience. I was hesitant about staying in the area as were Hilton members / fours season snobs BUT this hotel was excellent. The area is great too. Safe and beautiful.

El hotel precioso, el restaurante riquísimo, pero hay algo que no me gustó, después de haber hecho el check-out, me llamaron para decirme que no me habían cobrado una noche por error. Ok, yo llego y me registro, ya tienen mi reserva y saben que será por dos noches, me comentan que el precio es increíble por el Hot Sale, obvio que me cobran $ 3,850.00 y pienso que es la ganga de mi vida, craso error, solo me habían cobrado una noche. La verdad después del buen tiempo pasado en el hotel, me dio mucho coraje. Eso no se vale, aparte te tratan como ladrón y te van a esperar a tu cuarto para firmar un baucher para consumo, me he quedado en mejores hoteles y solo lo cargan a mi cuenta y al hacer el check-out pagas, ¿cuál es el problema? Ojo, mejoren su administración o perderán muchos clientes. Yo estaba enferma y fui para distraerme, al final terminé pasando un muy mal momento. Espero tomen en cuenta mis comentarios, es toda mi intención dar una crítica constructiva. Gracias.
