This hotel was located very close to the falls. It was an easy walk to see the falls, Goat Island and other attractions. The hotel is beautiful on the outside and in! The bar area was beautifully laid out and styled. But there wasn't a bartender on staff the whole time we were there. They also did not clean our room the whole time we were there. One day they did come in and change out our towels, but they didn't make the bed or refresh the coffee station in the room. Breakfast was decent. An assortment of bakery items, bagels, toast, muffins. There was also eggs, sausage, potatoes, and french toast. I didn't try the waffle maker because it was always being used. But it was there as an option.

Observation Deck windows were filthy. Front desk service was pretty much non existant or friendly. Hotel advertised 24 x 7 coffee which was not the case.

All good except room furniture had plenty dust on it and breakfast items don’t get replenished until you ask the staff multiple times (this was our experience an hour before breakfast ends on both days of our stay)

The rooms are beautiful. The hotel is beautiful and so conveniet to everthing we wanted to do in Niagara Falls. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was so friendly and willing to help with everything. If we go back there we will stay at the Giacomo

The property in no way resembled the marketing that online. The cleanliness of the hotel was poor, especially the bathroom which had towels and other debris under the sink form previous guests. The breakfast was very poor, all served on cardboard plates and plastic cutlery.

I was attracted to the Giacomo hotel because it is an Art Deco building that was converted to a hotel. Sadly, it fails on many accounts and I will not be going back. It's too bad, because I was looking forward to staying there.

Loved the decor. The Giacomo is beautifully decorated and not run of the mill. The staff couldn't be better, from the check-in folks to the breakfast staff who prepared more coffee quickly, even though we appeared at the tail end of the breakfast time. The bar staff went out of their way to make more brownies for us in the evening, and the entertainment value is unmatched. We received quite a history of the area from the staff, with interesting stories to accompany, particularly from Lori, the bartender. My husband and I look forward to our next visit and would definitely stay at The Giacomo.
