"A lovely, well appointed and maintained medieval castle. The room was in a Picasso theme, very tastefull done and very spacious. The hosts were warm, welcoming, helpful and friendly. The breakfast, served on the terrace in superb surroundings, was excellent."

"Authentically shabby chic chateau, an experience you will never forget. Excellent place for a large group (we were 12 most of the fortnight) and perfect for eating drinking and talking late into the night. The pool is good and needed in the summer (38 degrees while we were there). Despite the large indoor space it was the outdoor living that we particularly enjoyed. Not a place for people who want modern conveniences, but if you want authentic old french this is perfect."

"25 family members met up here for my mum's 85th birthday and had a wonderful time. Chateau de Sau is an amazing place. It is huge: there were whole rooms that we hardly used. The four kitchens made it easy to cater. The pool and its kitchen were great. Thuir is a nice little town with a couple of good places to eat.The owners, Isabelle and Jean Loup were very helpful."

"We had a wonderful week with friends to celebrate a birthday at the Chateau in Saint-Siffret, enjoying the beautiful views, surrounding towns, relaxing by the pool and enjoying many delicious meals together prepared by a local chef that was recommended by the host. Would thoroughly recommend - we hope to be back!"

"Nous sommes une famille de 12 personnes dont 5 enfants et souhaitions passer une semaine de vacances avec de l'espace pour tout le monde. Cette demeure historique, très propre et avec de bons couchages, nous a parfaitement convenu, bien restaurée, en gardant en grande partie l'esprit médiéval. Nous avons eu un très bon contact avec la propriétaire et un accueil très sympathique et de bon conseil de la part de Jacqueline que nous tenons à remercier tout particulièrement."
