The hotel is an oasis in a crowded and noisy neighborhood. The staff are friendly and efficient. Decor is simple and pleasing. Coffee, tea, and snacks available in The Club. Arrived in Paris on the train from London at the Gare du Nord. Left on another train from the Gare de l’est. Short walks coming and going. Great experience all around.

First time in Paris. Picked this hotel due to the proximity to train station Gare du Nord only 5 min walk very convenient. Hotel was very nice, clean, comfortable beds quiet hotel. Free coffee was very good. I did not get the breakfast so cant comment on that. The area of the hotel felt a bit shady especially at night. It was no problem but I would not feel comfortable alone at night. Once inside the hotel gated area though it was fine. The shower was very slow to drain kept leaking outside the shower area onto the floor which was a bit inconvenient. Delicious bakery nearby right across street from Gare du Nord. Thank you for a comfortable stay.

My daughter and me felt unsafe to walk to and from the hotel. Lots of guys gathering around the entrance of the hotel gate. In addition saw every night prostitutes around the hotel. Once you were inside the hotel complex it was fine.

Prior to booking, reviews stated it was a safe area, however, upon arrival that was not the case. The hotel locks the gates after a certain time and failed to mention at check in and had a hard time getting ahold of anyone to let us back inside being in an area. The shower did not drain properly and the staff was more than happy to remedy the situation but sent maintenance in our room while we were not in the room nor aware. They moved us room but only to have to same plumbing problem. Would not recommend.

The Hotel is just next to the Metro station, but there is no noise at all. The 2min walk to the station is very safe. The room place is well kept clean and up to date The best part of the accomodations is the 24 hr club, where you can enjoy snacks, coffee and water for free!

There was an overwhelming sent of perfume in the lobby, and sitting area. Just awful to walk into that. It was very unnecessary and could not sit to drink coffee because the sent was so overbearing. The staff is friendly & nice. Don’t Expect water bottles in the rooms, only filtered in the lobby. I found alot of dust in the room and the sheets give off so much lint. So keep your stuff away from the bed. Major plus is the subways are down the block & it’s a lively area so you won’t feel unsafe.

OKKO Paris Est is my home away from home when in Paris. It’s only a few hundred meters from the platform of my High Speed Train service to Strasbourg. 5 minute walk also from Gare du Nord. Situated near very important transportation hubs. Places to eat and shops in Gare De L’Est. The booking design is refreshing and the CIWL Orient Express train theme within the hotel is very neat and well thought out it beeing right next to platform 1 of Gare De L’est. I’ve stayed here a dozen times and love it here.

Excellent hotel
A beautiful hotel in such a central location. Minutes walk to Gare du l'eust and Gare du Nord. Really lovely reception staff. A bonus is the petit gym and well kept sauna which was right oposite my room so really easy. At weekends the hotel offers 2 hours free check out, so 14:00 instead of 12:00am. Amazing! As well as l'aperitif at 18:30-20:30 for free. Loved it and would re-visit again!

We had the HARDEST time finding this hotel. Turns out it's inside the gated area and you don't need to press the random button that they have there lol. This hotel is kind of a sketch area since it's by a train station but very convenient, just wouldn't recommend walking late at night. Front desk staff was nice. We we got our room, the sheets were dirty so we had to ask them to replace so not cleanest hotel. They do have complimentary drinks and food in the lobby which was nice especially if you're on the go starting your day.
