"Was a beautiful hotel a bit outside of the main beach of Jungu Batu. It seems like it’s newly renovated, the rooms are spacious and clean! Pool was great for a quick dip before you hit one of the beaches on Lembongan. Staff is super friendly and helpful in case you want to book a tour or a boat back to Bali/Gilis etc. Can only recommend and would come back for sure!!"

"Venue is in a location far enough away not to be affected by the noise of the bars, but for some that might be an issue. The beach(southern part) is approx 15 minutes walk away, the busier northern part is a fair distance but was a pleasant enough walk there. The room was spacious but lacked basic essential maintenance. There were stickers in the bathroom insecure with exposed wires, shower head was blocked so didn’t spray too well, multiple light bulbs not working lock on door was difficult...

"We loved our stay at Ubad Retreat. The staff were amazing and very helpful. Delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner options smoothies. The free shuttle was handy to get into Ubud city and drivers were always very prompt. The pool is lovely and the gardens are so peaceful. We stayed with our 5 month old baby and felt very safe/happy. "I was very disappointed with the garden room! Way overpriced and did not look like the picture. No where to sit in or outside the room apart from the bed. Had a problem the first night in the roof but staff acted on it swiftly. The surrounding areas however were very attractive and well maintained. The food excellent quality and spa treatments good. All of the staff very well trained and pleasant. As it is outside central Ubud you are pretty much stuck in the resort unless you request...

"The service is just horrible. They dont really speak English or understand very well. When we arrived there was noone at the hotel for 10 minutes and we just waited. They had forgotten we were coming, so they started argueing with each others, but none of them spoke to us or provided service for check in. They forgot roomservice one or more days. Only good service was the scooter they rented to us. The room and the pool was fine, the experience was just ruined by the service. We expected more...
