*Do not book all inclusive through Expedia!* I selected the all inclusive option when booking in October 2023. We arrived at the hotel on April 15, 2024 and they said we were not on this package, but I had paid extra for it. We spent half of the first day on the phone with Expedia customer service and they ended up reimbursing us the cost to “upgrade” to the all inclusive, but so stressful and such a waste of holiday time. The resort told us we were not the first to go through this scenario, and I saw another Expedia comment about this too.
That being said, this resort was stunning and absolutely worth going to. But definitely do it as all inclusive otherwise it’d be quite pricey if you’re planning on spending most of your time at the resort. When I was planning a trip I knew I didn’t want to stay in any sort of commercial hotel, so the casitas were perfect. They were private enough to enjoy spending time on the balcony in the hammock while still being close and accessible to the available amenities. There was always chairs available at 1 of the 3 pools and it was just beautiful everywhere on the grounds. 5th Ave was a couple minutes walk away which we ended up going for walks every night for something to do. I’d absolutely stay there again in a heartbeat...just be cautious of that all inclusive option while booking!
