First of All, I am still confused how I "confirmed" the reservation as I did not receive anything until the day before check in.
Which made it Too late to cancel with Expedia. Thankfully my 'real' reservation let us cancel last minute.
Because of the "confusion", the hotel had me on a "handicapped room" Because the person who reserved was using a scooter (not me!).
Once checked in, we went to room 215. It was so dirty, smelly, mattresses smelled terrible, very run down room.
Came back down to change rooms, the front desk had 'Angel' accompy me to verify. He agreed, then assisted me to reopen the safety box which was not functioning correctly. Took him about 25 minutes to open with the keys.
With all the moving parts, my kids were asleep (past 1030 pm) , so my friend was kind to move into the room we were just assigned not to move the kids.
When she was trying to sleep , she had 3 men trying to get into her room (203), broke the chain and was yelling at her in Spanish.
Apparently, they were assigned that same room. Pretty scary scene and management was aware but didn't do anything about the situation.
As a party of 12, we DO NOT recommend this property!
The Property is well located.
