"From the great reviews I expected more, I guess. It was an older place but with some upgrades. The outdoor plantings needed to be cleaned up and weeds pulled. Parking was tight. The ice machine was in a room with a washer and dryer and you needed a key to access it. There was a leak somewhere and most of the room had standing water in it. There was a wet floor sign but no evidence that anyone was trying to keep the room accessible for guests. The desk employee was polite but just said watch out,...

"We've stayed here before. Everything CV lean and modern, but like last time we had lots of trouble getting the correct channel selection on the TV. Kristen, who checked us in at the front desk, came up to our room and got the TV working. She was professional and efficient. and went the extra mile to assure our great stay!"

"Lagoon/coy pond was pretty. Loved the walkways and bridge crossing the pond. The front desk clerk attached my stay to my Choice rewards. When booking I didn't realize this property was part of Choice Hotels. The food in the restaurant was great! Tina the bartender made the evening fun! "
