Ocean front beach home! Private beach/volleyball court, hot tub, beautiful views

Family owned since 1992, our 2 story 2,100 square foot home is designed to maximize the expansive ocean views from both the upper and lower floors, with the main bedroom upstairs and 2 additional bedrooms on the lower level. Each level has a full bathroom.
This cottage style home has wood accents throughout with a wood burning fireplace upstairs and LCD TV. The extended dining area contains a wet bar, stereo/CD player, and two tables for dining. All with a view and access to the upper deck.
The lower level is furnished with comfortable seating, TV/VCR, game table, full size futon, second full bathroom, laundry room, and extra refrigerator/freezer. There is direct access to the large lower deck and ocean view hot tub. Perfect for vacation!

Our private volleyball court is perfect for sheltered relaxation, a spirited game of volleyball, or there's room for both just off the lower deck. An easy stroll about 50 yards further down a dedicated sandy path gets you to the main beach. We love not only our "little beach" for small children to play and volleyball, but also the close proximity to Clark's creek for family fun in shallow water. You can't beat our view of Twin Rocks, the ocean waves, and the sunset!
This home is located in Rockaway Beach in the 7 mile sandy beach between Tillamook Bay and Nehalem Bay.

Great place!
This house was exactly what we were looking for and a great value. The view was amazing and having just a short walk down to the beach was perfect with a 4 year old and 1 year old. We could also walk to all of the rockaway shops and my daughter loved watching the train go by daily. Definitely plan on staying here again.

Beautiful house and excellent location.
The house was wonderful. It was clean and well stocked. We loved the hot tub and direct access to the beach. You don’t hear the noise from the road behind it at all. My one criticism would be the pack’n play was ancient and almost impossible to put together. Other than that- it was excellent! I would absolutely go back with the kids or just for an adult getaway.

We had a lovely weekend at this place. Although it rained and we could not walk to the beach, we enjoyed the beautiful views from the upper living room while we played cribbage. Very spacious upper and lower level bedrooms with bathrooms and living space. Would recommend highly. Something to be aware of: responsibilities for leaving and upkeep are big- see listing and read carefully.

Rockaway Getaway - Incredibly Awesome
The pictures don't do the property justice. From the ease to get to the beach to the various amenities on the property, this house is simply one of a kind. While we were just one couple staying there, the house felt very cozy and warm - yet there is ample room for larger groups. Each floor has its own charm and character, but the views simply couldn't be beat. And with the city center just mere blocks away by foot or by car, there is plenty to do if you want to wander. We'll be back to this location sometime very soon - it's worth the visit!

Visited Rockaway Beach with family and had a great time in this house. It was as advertised, very clean, and well equipped. Being able to walk right out the back door to the beach and enjoy amazing views are priceless. Rockaway Beach is a great little beach town and works very well as a jumping off point to other areas along the coast. We’d stay here again in a second.

Snow on the beach
The house was 100% great. Having two living areas was nice. Beds were comfortable. We were mostly indoors because we had 8” of snow, but the children loved playing in it. The house had everything that you would need. One recommendation for the owners would be to have a toy chest in the bedroom with bunk beds, or somewhere else with toys and books for younger children. There were games for older kids and plenty of outdoor sand toys, but if the weather is bad some inside toys would be a great addition. I definitely would like to return in warmer weather. The house is in a great location, it’s clean and spacious.

This home was the perfect location for our quaint family getaway, even in November when the weather can me unpredictable. The beach is a short walk through the dunes. When we weren't out on the beach, we enjoyed cooking, doing jigsaw puzzles, and playing games. The kitchen was fully stocked. The beds were comfortable. The house was clean. Highly recommend staying here.
